Hermetic tradition and the teachings of Don Juan Matus, conveyed by Carlos Castaneda, align in a journey of liberation.
The soul ascends through the seven planetary spheres; the warrior faces four walls: fear, clarity, power, and old age.
Both paths shows how the warrior, by breaking through these walls, accompanies the soul in its ascent.
Fear, the warrior’s first wall, is reflected in the Moon, where the soul leaves behind instinctual dependency. By overcoming fear, both the warrior and the soul take the first step.
Clarity, the second wall, corresponds to Mercury. The temptation of false certainty is overcome with the virtue of clarity. Both warrior and soul must continue humbly.
Power, the third wall, is reflected in Mars and Jupiter. In both Mars’ anger and Jupiter’s ambition, the warrior and the soul learn to transform power into conscious strength and spiritual abundance.
Old age, the final wall, is Saturn. The warrior, accepting death, transcends time, just as the soul finds eternity in Saturn.
The warrior’s path and the soul’s ascent mirror one another.
By breaking through the walls of fear, clarity, power, and old age, the warrior accompanies the soul, and both are liberated.
Thus, the final destination is union with the infinite—the Nagual.
